EziTrak® System Overview
Ezitrak® has been developed as a self-monitored tracking system, unlike other tracking devices.
Ezitrak® is independent & secure, not needing an expensive third party monitoring service company that may or may not stay in business.
No contracts & no annual monitoring fees
And most importantly, cost effective to own & operate with loads useful of features.
Incorporating a high performance GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, the Ezitrak® tracking system provides real-time, accurate position information to within approx 6-10Metres (20ft) in addition to speed and heading readings. GPS position data is recorded in the Ezitrak® Black box once per second, to have an accurate account of journeys, ideal for optional subscriber reporting services.
Live position & status data is communicated to you using its internal cellular phone module, requiring a SIM card, the same way your mobile phone operates*.
It is important to note that we are not affiliated with any carrier; you choose the best carrier SIM & plan to best suit your needs.
There are three communications techniques - Voice, SMS (Txt) & Data (Online Web) to immediately* alert you of tampering/theft, over speed, low battery and various other triggers (user defined).

While out of cellular range, the black box will continue to log events to report when back in range.
VOICE is one of Ezitrak’s® unique patented features. The embedded voice menu enables the owner to call the unit directly for position, speed & heading and activate control features over any phone, from anywhere in the world. Unlike SMS or Data, Voice is a guaranteed priority service by all network carriers, so if alert has been triggered you will get the call within seconds*.
SMS (text) is used to send you a backup alert with details of the breach. This functional also enables you to send your Ezitrak® commands for return SMS with location information, status reports or confirmation of activated commands.
ONLINE WEB ACCESS is an optional subscriber service allowing members to view one or more vehicles or assets, live, on a sophisticated moving map display in addition to accessing subscriber based reporting features.
ONLINE REPORTING is also an optional subscriber service. Vehicle journey history is available for customers to report vehicle usage in detail, at call or in the event of an incident. This feature provides the ability to create your own PDF report for a variety of fleet management activities such as vehicle servicing milestones, checking work sheets, fuel usage, in addition to OH&S recording.
Subscription is charged on an annual (July 1st to June 30th), per vehicle basis to access the Member Login area. It pays for the commercial access of Google Maps and the service & resource support of the online infrastructure.
Online services require the SIM Card to be GPRS data enabled with the most cost effective data, no charge reconnection plan. Our sales consultants will be happy to make recommendations to ensure your system is optimized.
Ezitrak® does not require an online, computer interface to carry out its basic functions. This service is offered to customers who wish to track one or many assets simultaneously on a real-time map display.
