SMS Text Security Alerts

Ezitrak® is one of the only voice interactive vehicle tracking & control systems in the world. Ezitrak® provides immediate access 24/7 to your vehicle, from anywhere in the world without the need of a computer.

As an alternative to voice or online web access, you can simply SMS (Text) your Ezitrak® message commands. From the text message, your system will identify your request, verify your security PIN code and return an SMS text message with the information requested or to confirm the function request. It is a simple and effective method of obtaining current location information, system status, change settings, or even lock and unlock your vehicle.

Text messages to and from your Ezitrak® are charged to you by your mobile carrier, at normal SMS rates.

This message gives you the Longitude and Latitude co-ordinates as well as the speed, heading, time and date. Co-ordinates are given as Degrees and Decimal Minutes with respect to the WGS-84 Datum and time is relative to UTC. The information provided may be up to date, signified by the words “Current Position”, or it may be the last recorded position signified by the words “Old Position”. The UTC Time and Date provided signifies how old the data is.

GPS co-ordinates locate the vehicle’s exact position on the many free map websites available on the web.

Note:
Only Cellular phones can send & receive SMS messages so you should only use a cellular phone to send SMS messages to your Ezitrak®. Also note that, when using SMS messages, there maybe a delay in sending and receiving messages. This delay is caused by your network service provided and NOT your Ezitrak®.
